la Madeleine: Cozy French-Inspired Restaurant & Café in Plano, TX

We love La Madeleine and ate here this evening as it was on our way home. There was no wait at 7:30p we ordered a sampler and an entree with soup and salad. We miss the days of the bread service that was self serve but were pleased with the availability of two large pieces of the white bread and were given butter as well as blackberry and strawberry preserves. Food was warm, service was quick, and we were in and out in an expected amount of time. Portions are a bit smaller and prices a bit higher than a few years ago, but that’s nothing out of line with 2024 pricing. Recommend this location and we’ll definitely be back!

5/5 ⭐ My favorite place ever! I absolutely love La Madeleine! It’s hands down my favorite restaurant — the food, the atmosphere, everything is just perfect. Their sandwiches are always fresh and incredibly delicious, I’ve tried many, and every single one has been amazing. The coffee? Truly the best I’ve ever had. I order online through their app all the time and my order is always perfect. I also love going there with my family to eat — the place feels so cozy and welcoming and the staff is always welcoming. I recommend La Madeleine to all my friends because it truly has it all: incredible food, amazing coffee, great service, and a comforting atmosphere. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Just discovered a little gem — la Madeleine café! They seriously have the most delicious latte I’ve ever had — smooth, creamy, and comforting. And their sandwiches? So good! Crispy French bread + fresh ingredients = perfection. The vibe is just magical — with beautiful French music in the background, it truly feels like a cozy corner of Paris . Warm, charming, and relaxing. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for something special!

Came through for a client meeting, had the Beef & Parmesan Potatoes. It was delicious. In general, a solid representation of what a la Madeleine is corporately. 4 stars for the atmosphere mainly cause it was loud compared to other locations. Still solid but I would have likely have chosen a different venue for a business meeting. I'll come back through & update the rating if the atmosphere is different.

A good mid afternoon meal at this La Madeline. I had the Chicken Parisienne. Wow, so good! The staff was very helpful throughout ordering process. Also someone was in the dining room keeping it clean. Very good service indeed. Both good food and good service, I highly recommend this La Madeline location in Plano, TX.

Fantastic restaurant. Very clean and very attentive staff. Food tasted great as always. I’m looking forward to coming back here.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Came here for breakfast with the family. Food was quite good and the atmosphere pleasant. However, they no longer offer unlimited bread and jam like before, and prices have increased significantly. A nice spot, but these changes were a bit disappointing.

My first time at a La Madeleine- which all my Texan colleagues found pretty amusing. Fast casual. Nice attention to detail in decor and atmosphere. Warm and cozy. The menu was limited, but fresh. Salads made fresh, to order. You walk through a cafeteria line to pick your foods as you go, then seat yourself. Lots of seating and different spaces, so you didn’t get overwhelmed by bodies or too much noise. A quick option if you are in a hurry with enough charm to sit and visit for a bit. There were several lovely looking desserts- I’m going to have to return and try them all.
